About Us

After 30 years in the IT industry, I decided to make a change and take my lifelong interest, involvement and knowledge in cycling more seriously by starting up a Bicycle Service and Repair business.

I have been riding bikes since I was 3 years old, and still remember the magic of mastering my first 2 wheeler. I have always been hands on with my bikes, my first complete bike rebuild being my Raleigh Chopper, including a full respray at the age of 10.

Treasured memories include setting off on a Sunday morning with my Dad and brother. We would head off into the Northumberland countryside and pedal for what felt like endless miles along the quiet country lanes. Clocking up 70 or 80 miles was not unusual. It was hard but rewarding, with the additional motivation to get home for our Sunday dinner, which always tasted amazing after a long hard day in the saddle!

In short this is a lifetime passion that I would like to evolve into a service supporting cyclists of all ages in the North East area.

I'm also a Cytech trained technician to Tech 3, ensuring that bike industry recognised standards, techniques and processes are applied to every bicycle we service or repair.
